Seafood Summer Celebration at Poggio

Today officially marks the first day of summer and that fact isn’t lost of one of the top restaurants in the Bay. Poggio, which was included in the 2016 Michelin Bib Gourmand list for the San Francisco Bay Area, will be celebrating the beginning of the season and all its trappings with a six-course “Festa Frutti di Mare” dinner. Curated by executive chef Benjamin Balesteri, the dishes are brimming with local seafood provided by San Francisco-based fish receiver and distributor Water2Table. Expect the restaurant’s usual brand of fresh, simply and earnestly prepared trattoria cuisine, paired with fine Italian wines that were hand selected by connoisseur and Siena Imports founder Romano Chietti. Chietti, Water2Table founder Joe Conte and chef Balesteri will all be on hand to walk guests through the tasting –– limited seats are still available so snag one while you still can!
