Fisher's Cheese + Wine

Vibe

Kiri Fisher brings a bright, airy and much-needed cheese forward space to the Marin County Mart. Designed by Wylie Price Design – you know them from Trick Dog and State Bird Provisions, interior highlights include floral wallpaper, high ceilings, and subway tile. Think upscale Scandinavian whimsy with better meatballs than Ikea.

Menu

Cheese shopping at Fisher's means leaving familiar landmarks behind. She prides herself on carrying a selection of unique and off-the-beaten-path brands, ones she hopes you’ve never heard of. “Wine and cheese shouldn’t be intimidating,” she says, “I want people to come here and have an experience”. That's why she insists on having plenty of knowledgeable staff on hand to answer all your novice queso questions. In the kitchen, chef Monica Kusaka Herrero stacks a full menu which includes hearty items like meatballs and mac + cheese, as well as a selection of ever-changing specials. The outdoor seating is a perfect place to try a few small plates and sip on a wide selection of vino.
