Second Fridays Art Walk in San Rafael

Anyone who’s ever been to an art walk will sing its praises. Not only to you get to check out cool (often local) art, there’s generally live music, pop-up restaurants or food trucks, plus you also get to go out with friends and meet new people, and wine. Lots of wine that’s often free. Even if it wasn’t for all those aforementioned features, the highlights of this Friday’s are not to be missed. Art Works Downtown will be showcasing their Technological Mediations exhibit which is set to display works from esteemed artists like Jim Campbell as well as Bay Area native Jenny Odell who is making quite a name for herself. Underworld Gallery will have a photography exhibit available for viewing that is centered around ways to experience and view the beauty of Marin parks, will you agree with these views? The only way to know for sure is to get up and check it out! Aside from Underworld and Art Works Downtown there’s at least 10 other galleries and businesses participating in the event ensuring something for everyone –– better than ordering food at home in the very least. Don’t forget about the wine.

If You Go:
