Labor Day Sail

There are a lot of songs about boats. Of course there’s the Lonely Island classic but the now-defunct joke-rap trio Das Racist also weighed in on their stellar Diplo-produced track  (lyrics: “What motivates you? Let’s go around the room — ‘I wanna own a boat one day’”). And beyond songs there are also plenty of adages, “the two happiest days of a boat owner’s life are the day they buy a boat and the day they sell it,” and so on and so on. Needless to say, boats: they get to us on a visceral level. So why not spend some time luxuriating on one this Labor Day? Enjoy floating aboard the Schooner FREDA B — a ticket includes pastries, fruits, and cheeses, as well as your first Bloody Mary or mimosa*. The Bloody Mary’s are made using the best local organic vodka from HANSON OF SONOMA, try one for yourself. Board in Sausalito and see the Bay’s most iconic sights from the special vantage of the water, including Alcatraz, Angel Island, the Golden Gate Bridge and the San Francisco Skyline. Afterwards, you can catch a shuttle to the Sausalito Art Festival located near the Bay Model.

*Cash bar thereafter
