Awards Night Viewing Parties

Have you ever dreamed of walking the red carpet? Well you don’t have to be a nominated actor or actress to do that as the red carpet is for more than just the celebrities this Sunday.

Head to the Lark Theater in downtown Larkspur for a glammed out Oscar affair where the awards ceremony will be front and center on the big screen. Food from Perry’s and Left Bank will be served, and you can bid in the silent auction for a chance to win getaways, gift cards and much more. Dress code is glitz and glamour – dress like an actor or actress, or go as a group and theme your attire.

However, if you’re not into all the glitz, and prefer something more casual, there is something for you, too. The atmosphere at the Rafael Theater will be decidedly more relaxed, with Oscar trivia games during the commercial breaks. There will also be free popcorn and champagne along with boxed dinners available for an additional purchase.

If You Go:

When: Sunday, February 28, 2016 at the Lark - Doors open at 4:00 pm, The Rafael - Doors open at 3:30 pm.

Where: Lark Theater - 549 Magnolia Ave in Larkspur; Rafael Theater - 1001 Lootens Place in San Rafael

Cost: Lark Theater - $80 members, $85 non-members; Rafael Theater- $12 members, $15 non-members
