The Book of Mormon at SHN Orpheum Theatre

Do you remember when South Park first aired on Comedy Central? The gang of crude 4th graders sent shockwaves across the country — both good and bad ones — and quickly wormed their way into the fabric of American lives. Cartman “respect my authoritayyy” shirts were donned by jackasses across the nation. Every man named Kenny was faced with an onslaught of death jokes. It goes on. Believe it or not, this was 20 years ago. Yea, let that sink in for a minute. And from 2017 going forward the genius of Trey Parker and Matt Stone never quelled. They made a movie, and not ones to shy away from song, they also created a musical. In fact, The Book of Mormon garnered praise from the most esteemed outlets, being called “the best musical of the century” by The New York Times, for example. The guys who came up with a pot smoking towel sure have come a long way.

The Book of Mormon is back by popular demand for a four-week only special engagement at the SHN Orpheum Theatre. If you’re dying to see the play but don’t want to shell out a cool $100 or more, there’s hope for you still — enter the SHN ticket lottery and get tickets for $25 each!
