Help Restore the Habitat at Creekside with Save The Bay

If volunteering within your community was part of your New Year's resolution, or even exploring the great outdoors, then you can start by helping to restore Hal Brown Park at Creekside in Larkspur.

Save The Bay, in partnership with the Marin County Department of Parks and Open Space, is looking for volunteers to help restore the vital habitat for the endangered Ridgeway's rail this Saturday. It's a perfect way to not only help beautiful Marin County, but get the whole family involved for some weekend fun in the fresh outdoors. Space is limited for this event, so registration is required. If you are planning on bringing a group of more than 10 people, you have to contact the event coordinator at 510-463-6805 or [email protected].

No experience is necessary, and to make it even easier, all you need to do is show up (after you register, of course) and bring some water. Snacks, extra water, gloves, tools and instructions are provided, as well as help from CPR certified Save The Bay staff.
