Oh, What A Night

A new year calls for new stage productions. Well, this one is not-so-new as it made its Broadway debut back in 2005 and toured nationally in 2006 – and it's one show I've been eager to see for the last 10 years.

So, on January 22, my husband and I ventured out to San Francisco's Orpheum Theatre for the press showing – and opening night – of the Broadway hit musical Jersey Boys. A true story about Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi – the original members of the Four Seasons – Jersey Boys tells audiences about how a group of blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks in New Jersey became one of the biggest American pop groups of all time.

The musical shows the group’s rise to fame and fortune, their falling out and their comeback. “Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You”, “Walk Like A Man”, “Sherry”, “Big Girls Don’t Cry” and many other well-known (and not so well-known) songs will keep your toe tapping through the whole show.

The Orpheum Theatre is currently offering a $25 lottery ticket as well as special $50 tickets because of Super Bowl 50.
