Tam Valley Crab Feed

As you probably know, global warming has messed up yet another thing: crab season. But not completely! Crabs found near Ventura and Santa Barbara have been deemed safe to eat again, with the advice to steam and boil them, and to not eat their internal organs. Any caught up here are still a no-go, but either way, if it’s crab you seek -- there is an event. Have all-you-can-eat crab to make up for lost time and take part in raffles and games this weekend at the Tam Valley Crab Feed. Please call event organizers to make reservations and with any additional questions you may have.

If You Go:

When: Saturday, January 23 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Where: Tam Valley Community Center 203 Marin Avenue, Mill Valley

Cost: $55 general; $50 for seniors (65+); table of 10 for $500
