Beatles in the Park

Whether you were present for the British Invasion or simply a beneficiary of the era’s unparalleled rock ‘n’ roll, The Beatles’ iconic tunes likely resonate in your musical mind (unless you’re a diehard Stones fan, to which I say there’s enough love to go around, and ‘It’s Only Rock ‘n’ Roll’). So all music lovers take note — come July 12, groove on down to Creek Park in San Anselmo for the 12th Annual Beatles in the Park Tribute Concert, presented by the San Anselmo Arts Commission; this year’s concert doubles as a fundraiser for the Arts Commission.

The event’s ongoing success can be attributed in large part to musical director Joe Bagale, who this year has amassed a number of Bay Area talents to re-create Paul, John, George and Ringo’s signature stylings. Enjoy your classic favorites, as well as a few creative new compositions that make use of the same soul.
