The foundation works to breathe life back into the traditional crafts of Afghanistan as well as Murad Khani, an area of Kabul’s Old City known for its rich culture. Conflict in Afghanistan has resulted in a cultural death throughout the region, as artists have been continually forced to flee or change occupations. Help Turquoise Mountain in their efforts to restore buildings, build schools and health clinics and provide an opportunity for talented people to pick up where they left off at the Turquoise Mountain Institute for Afghan Arts and Architecture.
