Angel Island Movie Night

Everyone always talks about al fresco dining, but honestly, doing just about anything al fresco is preferable to staying indoors, be it exercising, reading, or watching movies. Summertime, of course, is synonymous with movies in the park, but this weekend offers something even better. Spend Saturday night with friends and family enjoying a picnic, a glass of wine and watching DreamWorks Animation's Madagascar on the lawn -- on Angel Island. Bring your own picnic, or buy a picnic basket from Angel Island Company's Cafe, a flashlight/headlamp, blanket and/or low lawn chairs. You can also bring charcoal and use the BBQ's to make dinner camp-style. Wine, sodas and other goodies will also be on sale. Dress casually and bring warm layers. The ferry for the island departs at 5pm from Tiburon and is included in the price of admission. This event is a benefit for Angel Island Conservancy. Hope to see you there!
