Sausalito 4th of July Parade and Fireworks

The parade begins at 10 a.m. at the intersection of Second and Main Street and travels down Bridgeway to Caledonia and ends at Caledonia and Bee Street. Bridgeway (from Napa to 2nd Street) and Caledonia (from Bee to Bridgeway) will be closed to through traffic from 9:45 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Starting at noon there will be live music at Dunphy Park by Chime Travelers until 3:30 p.m. Food, dancing, family games, tug-of-war and famous traditional egg toss help make this an exciting event for the whole family. The fun continues at 6:30 p.m. in Gabrielson Park with music by Faithfully a Journey Tribute Band, food trucks and the show starting at 9 p.m.

Kasia Pawlowska loves words. A native of Poland, Kasia moved to the States when she was seven. The San Francisco State University creative writing graduate went on to write for publications like the San Francisco Bay Guardian and KQED Arts among others prior to joining the Marin Magazine staff. Topics Kasia has covered include travel, trends, mushroom hunting, an award-winning series on social media addiction and loads of other random things. When she’s not busy blogging or researching and writing articles, she’s either at home writing postcards and reading or going to shows. Recently, Kasia has been trying to branch out and diversify, ie: use different emojis. Her quest for the perfect chip is never-ending.
