"Hare & Tortoise" at MTC



In our hectic Snapchat/FasTrak/there’s-an-app-for-that 2017 lives it’s important to remember the old adage, “slow and steady wins the race.” Too busy to impart this lesson to your kids? No problem. The people at Marin Theatre Company are here for you with their production of Hare & Tortoise. Young, excitable Hare wants nothing more in this world than to race his friend — the older, slower Tortoise. While Hare speeds through daily life and does everything he can to make the time pass faster, Tortoise slows down and takes her time, whether doing chores or having fun.

Intended for audiences between the ages of 4 and 8 year olds, this plays explores friendship, the passing of time and the excitement of growing up.
