St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival

Have you been feeling hunger pangs for corned beef hash? Are cravings for green beer starting to set in? Strange. But fortunately we have just the event for you. That’s right, it’s time for the annual St. Patrick’s Day festivities.

With over 100 floats, numerous marching bands, and an estimated turnout of 100,000, the parade is a spectacle that’s not to be missed. The festival will be taking place at Civic Center Plaza and it’s planned to start before the parade and go on until well after, so remember to pace yourselves. Festival offerings include something for the whole family: arts and crafts, more live performances, children’s rides and even a petting zoo. And rest assured, there will be Irish food and drink aplenty.

If You Go:

When: Saturday, March 17
Parade: Starts at 11:30 a.m.
Festival: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Parade begins on the corner of Market and 2nd Street and runs to Civic Center
Festival is in Civic Center Plaza
Cost: Free
