Are you looking for some fun and excitement to bring into your life this weekend? Well, you can retire that search because it’s time for Carnaval. The massive two-day, eight block event is having it’s 37th annual celebration of Latin American and Caribbean cultures in the Mission this weekend and the anticipated list of entertainment is sure to keep you electrified all throughout. In past years the standard fare has included a Low Rider Art Car Show, Latin American music, plenty of dancing, a block party with DJs and a special party for children.
In addition to all of that there is bound to be many art showings, performances on every corner, as well as the Grand Parade that starts at 9:30am on Sunday morning. Come join this year’s Grand Marshal Sheila E. and take it all in!
