The 44th Annual Muir Beach Volunteer Firemen’s Barbecue

Muir Beach Volunteer Firefighters are a selfless bunch. Training closely with Marin County Firefighters at the Throckmorton station, Muir Beach Firefighters are required (at a minimum) to hold and maintain an Emergency Medical Responder and State Volunteer Firefighter certificate. The group also includes one Medical Doctor and one Emergency Medical Technician. This results in a highly skilled group of unpaid experts who respond to a full range of emergency situations, from structure and wildland fires, vehicle accidents to medical emergencies and everything in between.

Celebrate these pillars of society this Memorial Day weekend with a fun event for the whole family at the annual Muir Beach Volunteer Firemen’s Barbecue. IrieFuse will start the day and Andre Pessis plus his all star band will headline the fundraiser. Barbecue chicken and vegetarian tamale lunches, Lagunitas beer and wine will be available for purchase, in addition to clothing and other items featuring the famous Muir Beach Volunteer Fire Department iconic dog logo. The day’s activities end with a raffle for great prizes that include accommodations, restaurant gift certificates and more.
