Mountain Play Mamma Mia!




It’s eighth longest-running show in London’s West End history, the ninth longest-running show in Broadway history, it has also a been made into a movie, and now the production of Mamma Mia!is making its way to the top of Mount Tam to get the Mountain Play treatment. Based on the songs of ABBA, the musical is composed by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, former members of the band. And for novices,Mamma Mia! is very much pro-lady and packed with women empowerment spirit. How is this celebrated? Through song, of course. Theme of friendship and love, which are expressed from ABBA's songs like, “Dancing Queen", "Knowing Me, Knowing You", "Take a Chance on Me", "Money, Money, Money", "The Winner Takes It All", "SOS", the title track and many others. Come out, singalong and don’t lag — the show goes through June 17.
