Whet your film festival appetite with High Line Surf Festival — formerly the Mill Valley Surf Film Festival — an annual homage to Marin County’s surf set. Now in its third year, the three-day festival features a variety of odes to the riders of the waves off Bolinas and Ocean Beach, including short films (20, to be exact), some can’t-miss parties and music from the likes of former skateboarder Matt Costa. The panel of five film judges includes Joao de Macedo and Bianca Valenti.

If You Go:

September 4–6

Various Locations (Mill Valley)

Tickets: $12/set (all of the night’s events)
