Clif Bar Cykelscramble

If you don’t have any plans this weekend — if you have some you may want to reconsider — head over to the Marin County Fairgrounds for a day packed with bike relay races, top music talent, a beer garden, food trucks and activities for kids. And it’s free. Racers will be covering a .6-mile sprint course with over a dozen fast-paced obstacles to up the ante and rile up the audience. This course is arranged to show off the contestants’ abilities, push limits and reward those who get dirty. But this is hardly it. Portugal. The Man will be providing the entertainment, favorite Bay Area food trucks will be keeping you nourished and Lagunitas Brewing Company and Clif Family Winery will be there to keep the drinks flowing. To keep you hydrated, there will be refillable water stations and so remember to bring your water bottle along. Be sure to check out the mini pump track for kids and grown-up kids and the Clif Bar sampling area. Hope to see you there!
