The Richard de Lone Special Housing Project was born from to personal experience — Austin and Lesley de Lone’s son, Richie, was born with Prader-Willi Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that, thus far, has no known cause or cure. Prader-Willi results in low muscle tone and abnormal appetite function, among other things.
With the help of his friends, Austin and Lesley de Lone aim to build a residential community for children and adults with Prader-Willi, and you can help by attending this awesome concert. The benefit coincides with the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival, which means a slew of rockabilly, blues and Americana artists are in town — expect performances by Butch Hancock, Dan Hicks and the Hicksville Express, Jimmie Dale Gilmore and many more.
