Did it seem like the Fourth of July just snuck up on you this year? Well, you’re not alone. There are thousands of desperate campers clamoring to secure a spot right now, as this July holiday is the busiest weekend of the year for state parks camping and many reservations have already been claimed. Some may succeed and luck out with a site, while others may resign themselves to a barbeque at the friend-who-has-the-best-yard’s house. But there are other options out there, as well. Ones that may not be on everyone’s radar.
Come experience the San Francisco Fireworks show on one of the Angel Island Tiburon Ferry Vessels this year. Cruisers are welcome to bring their own snacks and food to enjoy during the cruise but alcoholic beverages must be left at home. If you’d like to imbibe something harder, there will be wine, beer, soft drinks, and snacks available for purchase on the cruise. With that in mind: please note that The Tamalpais vessel is best suited for adults. Families with small children will want to book reservations on The Angel Island Ferry boat.
