Argentine Guitar Concert for Sausalito Sister City

Seis Cuerdas, a dynamic guitar duo from Los Angeles, will be performing at the historic Pines Mansion at 33 Miller in Sausalito on Saturday, June 22. The Etcheverry brothers are originally from Buenos Aires and play flamenco to rock with incredible technique. Flashy, romantic, unpredictable, rhythmically rich, fresh…and very Spanish. I’ve heard them before. They’re hot.

The concert is part of an evening that also welcomes a delegation of business women visiting from Chile in conjunction with the Sausalito/Vina del Mar Sister City Program. This is the second year that a group of entrepreneurial women have visited Sausalito as a part of the city’s business exchange and mentoring program with Vina del Mar. The delegates have toured women-owned businesses and participated in workshops on business planning and marketing, as well as being feted by civic leaders and city officials at numerous events.

The festive evening at The Pines begins at 6:30 p.m. this Saturday with a Latin buffet, margaritas, martinis, beer and wine, followed by the concert and dancing.  Tickets are $30 at brownpapertickets.com/event/720678 or may be purchased at the door. Parking is limited but there will be a city shuttle from the Spencer Avenue parking lot starting at 6 p.m.
