Get ready for snow in August, a Mardi Gras parade, Talk like a Pirate day and more at the Sonoma County Fair. The Hall of Flowers floral design theme will be “Holidays in Bloom,” in conjunction with the Fair’s 2017 theme "Holidaze at the Sonoma County Fair." Highlights include the Community Concert Series FREE with Fair Admission, a spectacular new carnival, PRCA Rodeo, Destruction Derby, Monster Trucks, holiday themed activities, Lorikeet Encounter, Reptile Exhibit, High Diving Pirates of the Caribbean, livestock shows, comedy nights, and so much more. Wine Country Horse Racing bursts out of the gates along with opening day of the Fair and runs August 3 – 6, August 10 – 13 and continues after the Fair August 18 – 20. At the NorCal Brew Fest on Aug. 5, enjoy unlimited tastes of over 50 beers and ciders.
