Marin County Fair Opens July 1 [Sponsored]

The award-winning Marin County Fair offers five days of fun-filled, family entertainment July 1-5. Now in its 74th year, the Fair reflects the county in all its colorful traditions and innovations promising leading-edge exhibits, hands-on family activities, popular concerts, thrilling rides, adorable farm animals and spectacular fireworks every night!

On With The Show! will highlight some of the new events that bring the STEM to STEAM concept to the forefront, adding the arts to science, technology, engineering and math. These events are loads of fun for kids of all ages and at the same time, underscore the fundamentals of innovation and creativity.

The STEAM Carnival features high-tech games, interactive installations, dynamic build zones, round the clock stage shows, lab demos, aerialists, artists, food, and more. There’s something for everyone!

Great Concerts by Kansas, tribal Seeds, La Misa Negra, The Marshall Tucker Band, Queen Nation, Pablo Cruise, Judy Collins and closing with Aaron Neville.

The interactive LEGOJEEP is an ex-US Postal Jeep with LEGO panels glued to the car to allow the LEGO bricks to stick. Perfect for the maker kid in all of us!

Something Ridiculous is a high-energy juggling and acrobatic act performed by slapstick stuntmen Mark Wilder and VonJon.

The Amazing Bubble Man has thrilled audiences around the world for nearly 30 years with the art, magic, science and fun of bubbles.

Stars of the Peking Acrobats perform breathtaking stunts such as pagoda of chairs, a trick cycling kaleidoscope, treacherous wire walking and amazing displays of contortion.
