Designers rave about the consistently exciting art and talent at the ICB. One even commented: “This is the most happening art scene in the Bay Area. It’s better than Pinterest and Instagram; it’s all right here!”

The ICB continues to be a coveted location for emerging and established artists alike. Over the past few years, a fresh wave of exciting top-notch artists have joined this vibrant art community.

Winter Open Studio attendees hail from as far away as Los Angeles, Washington, Oregon and Montana to discover art that touches their hearts, or to find pieces suited for home or public settings.

These attendees relish the opportunity to view internationally recognized, award-winning abstract and figurative painters, photographers, sculptors and textile artists. Many ICB artists have had their work included in the de Young Open as well as other prestigious museums and galleries. Come see work by Sophy Bevan, Maria Burtis, Christopher Chaffin, Rachel Davis, Bibby Gignilliat, Nancy Ilg, Kathryn Keller, Stephen Mangum, Sharon Paster, along with talented artists newer to the ICB like Gordon Studer and Katie Korotzer. Winter Open Studios at the ICB gives collectors a chance to build personal relationships with artists. When artists share their inspiration, process, and the story behind the art, it helps to form strong, long-term connections.

The ICB, located at 480 Gate Five Road, is a vibrant part of Sausalito’s working waterfront. Winter Open Studios is free and open to the public. Ample free parking is available and is ADA accessible (on the bay side).

All Marin County safety and health protocols will be in effect. Masks and physical distancing will be required.
