Welcome home to Lycée Français de San Francisco (LFSF)!
Class is back in session at LFSF, the international, French American, language immersion school for students in preschool through high school.
While we’re just getting started for the 2022-2023 academic year, last school year was a success for many reasons, but, in particular, for 46 reasons. In 2021-2022, we bid adieu to 46 seniors, 100 percent of whom were accepted to at least one of their top three colleges. Further, the Class of 2022 racked up $1.4 million in merit scholarships. This fall, a few of our lifers — those with us from preschool through 12th grade — are off to tackle new challenges at Yale, UC Berkeley and UCLA, to name a few. We wish them well on their incredible new journeys, and we look forward to celebrating another round of awe-inspiring successes from the Class of 2023.
But first, let’s back it up a little bit.
In 2022-2023, our teachers and students will take hands-on learning to a new level with our Global Learning program. The chosen destinations — from Quebec, Canada, to Montana, to New Orleans — align with the respective grade’s curriculum. In turn, students gain superior speaking skills, newfound confidence and knowledge.
This year, we also will place a special focus on music. From bands and choirs, to shows and musical tours, we aim to bring a world of musical opportunities to our students. We believe music is an art form for all to enjoy, regardless of its genre or context, from a rigorous and academic practice to a playful and social tool to help students connect and belong.

We’re just getting started, but we can’t wait to see what this year holds.
