To quote their website, “Fenix is a total revolution in live music and dining, where dining room, stage, and state-of-the-art recording studio are one.” That just about says it all. Owner Laura van Galen and team went about creating a venue that offers not just an impressive selection of cuisine and cocktails, but – as you probably gather from the quotes – an equally impressive live stage experience.

I set up in the front bar which is very spacious and beautifully lit. In addition to the featured cocktail, the Fenix Rising, and at the direction of owner Laura van Galen, bartender Ben Ernst made four other cocktails for me to photograph. Each cocktail had its own, special color combination and when these cocktails were placed side by side they created a rainbow of rich, vibrant, beautiful colors. The richly lit bar behind these cocktails was an added bonus and added an absolute wow factor. Very fun for me.
