The Man’s from La Mancha –but (almost) everyone else is from Marin
Ever watch a show and think to yourself “I think I went to school with that guy?” Well, chances are you did. Here is a rundown of who is in this summer’s Mount Tamalpais Mountain Play, Man of La Mancha, directed by Jim Dunn. Sancho Panza is played by Randy Nazarian (Novato). Bookstock 2009
The Miller brothers, who were featured in the May issue of Marin Magazine, will be on hand at Bookstock 2009 at AT&T Park on June 6. The event includes live music, an art show, an advance screening of the twins’ film Touching Home, starring Ed Harris, and the launch of their memoir Either You’re In Or You’re In the Way. The Search Is On
A flower of singular beauty and occurrence grows on Ring Mountain’s grassy slopes. Endemic to one hillside, the Tiburon Mariposa lily (Calochortus tiburonensis) blooms in early summer as the grasses turn brown. Searching for the flower is half the fun, but please stay on trails and give the plant the respect it deserves.
