The popular KC Turner House Concert Series returns to Marin cosponsored by KFOG and features a special performance from Tim Bluhm and Greg Loiacono of The Mother Hips. The band is featured on KFOG’s new Local Scene CD, proceeds of which go to Music in Schools Today.
Turner, who also hosts an open mic event at Finnegan’s Marin on Mondays, has been selling out his trademark house shows as well as venues such as Cafe Du Nord for several years now. What started as a small show in his one-bedroom Novato condo in 2007 has turned into a “must-see” series for music lovers that includes such names as Matt Nathanson, The Welcome Matt and Ben Kweller.
