Our top Instagram post in October was by @awesternlens. “For photographers, the summer fog is actually considered a season, ‘fog season,’ and a very specific phenomenon called ‘fog waves’ has become quite the coveted shot,” he says. “The conditions that night (August 16) were perfect for the fog, and smoke from wildfires burning in southern Oregon created a deep red glow in the sky.”
