1 Degree of Separation, A Funny Look at Depression and Suicide

Northern California comedians are coming together in Mill Valley to present “1 Degree of Separation, A Funny Look at Depression and Suicide.” The shows uses humor and openness to spark conversation about mental health in the community.

This will be a special show for several reasons but the most notable is that it is being held at the Throckmorton Theatre in Mill Valley which was always considered “Robin Williams’ home theater.” Watching the Robin Williams documentary after his tragic death is what inspired Brad Bonar to create 1 Degree of Separation because suicide and depression were never actually mentioned in that documentary even though those were major factors in Robin Williams’ life and death. Brad felt compelled to break the stigma behind mental illness and show people how to have lifesaving conversations.
