Author Paul T. Scheuring Reads from His Latest Book, The Resurrectionist

Paul T. Sheuring is an internationally known author, screenwriter, and director of films and television shows, including the long-running television drama Prison Break. He will read from, and discuss the writing of, his latest book, The Resurrectionist. This historical thriller is set in 1820, when London’s physicians were so desperate to understand human anatomy that they didn’t much care where the bodies they dissected came from. Job Mowatt, a professional body snatcher and grave robber – a “resurrectionist” – uses his ill-gotten wages to protect his daughter in London’s worst slum, until a lucrative but dangerous job puts everything he loves at risk.
