Authors on the Plaza – Sonoma Valley Authors Festival

Grab a picnic basket and your favorite bottle of local wine for the 2022 Authors on the Plaza. Join us under the trees on the historic Sonoma Plaza for this free, family-friendly special event for the Sonoma community, hosted by the Sonoma Valley Authors Festival (SVAF).

As part of the 5th annual celebration, SVAF sponsors free special events for the Sonoma community. This year’s Authors on the Plaza, will be held Saturday, August 27, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. On the beautiful Sonoma Plaza in the city center, the 2022 event features introductions by humorist Dave Barry, New York Times best-selling fiction author, Amor Towles, talking about his newest book, The Lincoln Highway, and Mary Roach, a non-fiction writer of science-based topics with a generous helping of humor added. She will discuss her most recent book, “Fuzz: When Nature Breaks the Law,” about the conflicts between wildlife and humans.
