BayWood Artists 26th annual fine art show and sale STATE PARKS SPLENDOR – Paintings to benefit Parks California,

Join the BayWood Artists and Parks California for a fine art show and sale at The Studio, Marin Art and Garden Center in Ross September 8-10, 2023.

“STATE PARK SPLENDOR – Paintings to benefit Parks California” will feature over 100 original paintings by professional artists Christin Coy, Laura Culver, Jon Francis, Robert Frank, Michael Friedland, Sherrill Miller, Lissa Nicolaus, Jean Sanchirico, Robert Steele, and Guest Artist Suzanne Siminger. They will focus on the Bay Area California State Parks, with on-location paint outs in the months leading up to the show.

Since its founding 26 years ago, the BayWood Artists have partnered with a nonprofit group each year to raise funds and promote awareness for Bay Area environmental causes. Half of the proceeds from this year’s show will go to support Parks California, the California State Parks’ statutory non-profit partner. Their mission is to help strengthen parks and inspire all people to experience these extraordinary places.

“STATE PARK SPLENDOR” opens to the public with an opening reception on Friday, September 8, 6pm-8pm. The art show will continue on Saturday and Sunday, September 9-10 from 10am – 4pm. Admission is free.
