Children for Change 5th Annual Challenge Event

One Sunday a year, Children for Change and hundreds of community members hike up Bald Hill followed by a block party. Escorted through downtown San Anselmo by Ross Valley Fire Department, this community hike is a 3.5-mile round trip with 1,100 feet of elevation gain. It is challenging enough for participants to feel a sense of accomplishment, but accessible to the whole family. Hikers are rewarded with an unmatched 360 degree view at the top. The after party in downtown San Anselmo includes youth-led games and advocacy activities, live music, raffle prizes, food, and more. Purchase your tickets by April 15 for $25/person. Children for Change is a local nonprofit in Marin serving K-8 students. Our mission is to empower youth to become global change-makers with the knowledge, confidence and empathy to make a positive impact in their world. Children for Change students across Marin learn to be advocates for their community and engage in volunteer opportunities with local nonprofits year-round. A portion of every ticket sold benefits our nonprofit partners.
