Comedian Jason Stuart – PRIDE Comedy!
June 18 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm$28
The Laugh Cellar, Charles Krug Winery and Sonoma County PRIDE present:
Comedian Jason Stuart
When you think one of the most prolific character actors, who’s also an outrageous openly gay stand-up comedian, one name comes to mind…. Jason Stuart. Stuart is the co-star, co-writer and co-producer of the hit Amazon comedy series Smothered along with Mitch Hara. His autobiography Shut Up, I’m Talking! from CCB Publishing is the funny, poignant story of a gay Jewish boy whose life changed after seeing Funny Girl at a second-run movie theatre in Hollywood. It’s about surviving a crazy family who survived the Holocaust and clearing up the wreckage of one’s past while learning how to become a man. As is his new stand up comedy album I’m The Daddy And I Have Candy. Stuart is currently the National Co-Chair of the SAG AFTRA LGBT Committee. For six years, he has chaired the comedy shows for Lifeworks Mentoring Program and he continues to mentor both straight and LGBTQ artists.
The show is a benefit for Sonoma County PRIDE and will take place outdoors on the Great Lawn at the iconic Charles Krug Winery in St. Helena. Local guests please bring your comfy outdoor chair or picnic blanket. Seating provided for guests from outside the immediate Bay Area. Charles Krug’s entire wine portfolio is offered for purchase by the bottle, with select wine for sale by the glass. Hearty Charcuterie/cheese boxes, non-alcoholic beverages and other savory and sweet snacks will also be available for purchase. Please no outside food or drink.
Charles Krug is an iconic winery in St. Helena, California ( in the heart of the Napa Valley). Under the guidance of the Mondavi Family, Charles Krug Winery honors its roots while forging ahead to the future. From the mid-19th Century wild west to the more innovative techniques of the 21st Century, relatively humble beginnings have given way to the finest form of winemaking.
Doors open at 6:00pm. Complimentary parking onsite. Show is open to guests age 21 and up. A Covid-safe playbook will be in effect.
