Geoff Bolt & Michael O’Brien honed their talents through San Francisco improvisational theater with “The Committee” & “The National Theatre of the Deranged”. They are comedians, actors, writers, Bay Area originals, and renowned as inspired improvisors in the world of sketch comedy. Both founding member of the critically acclaimed and long running “National Theatre of the Deranged”, they are also the creators and stars of NPR’s “Tips on Travel with Karl & Carl”. Their voices can be heard in thousands of radio and television spots.
Geoff debuted his stand-up comedy to rave reviews and continued in the stand-up world with his unexpected self-deprecating honesty and revelations. He has appeared in many feature films, and featured in 11th Annual HBO Young Comedians Special, Showtime’s Comedy Channel, Evening at the Improv and KQED’s Comedy Tonight.
Michael’s credits include solo performances at the Moth, Porchlight SF, Marsh Theatre, Holy City Zoo and Throckmorton Theatre. His acting credits include the award-winning film Last Black Man in San Francisco. Michael also hosts a weekly radio program on Sonoma’s NPR station KRCB FM.
