Habitat Restoration & Holiday Wreath Making Workshop with Marin Water & Mt. Tamalpais State Parks

November 21 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Free

Oak woodland and grassland habitat are threatened by shade producing Douglas-fir trees. Our staff and volunteers regularly remove these rapid spreaders. Join Marin Water and Mt. Tamalpais State Parks for a morning of habitat restoration followed by an afternoon of crafting with the beautiful and pleasant smelling evergreen branches. Go home with holiday wreaths and decorations for your home.

This event is FREE but registration is required. For more information and directions to the meeting location please RSVP. All tools and supplies are provided but we encourage you to bring your own hand clippers. The whole family is welcome!

As with all events please bring a water bottle, closed toe shoes and clothes for variable weather. We will provide tools, snacks, hot beverages, and water. Bring your lunch!
