Once Upon a Time in Tiburon: A Halloween Fundraiser Art Show

To our Marin Community,

This is the Najafi family’s third art show fundraiser event for Love Without Borders For Refugees in Need (background below) — this time with a twist: a Halloween, Hollywood themed event at our fun new, local Tiburon Cinelounge theater. Dress like your favorite actor/actress, movie character duo, or like you’re attending a red carpet event!

We kindly ask that you come prepared to support the artwork and/or donate and have a fabulous time!

2-3PM: Artwork First View
3-5PM: Reception + artwork viewing

We graciously welcome business/family event sponsors in the coming weeks. And if you’re unable to join, we kindly ask that you consider donating to LWOB through this invitation to help meet their fundraising goal.

Background on LWB:
Love Without Borders provides refugees in Greek camps, shelters, and housing communities with a source of emotional expression and economic self-empowerment while giving them a platform to spread awareness of the conditions in which they live and their varied and largely unmet needs. We provide donation-funded art supplies to the refugees–men, women, and children alike–then exhibit and sell the resulting works of art around the world with the help of communities that help to host art shows. We return one hundred percent of the earnings from the sale of refugees’ artwork to the artist who created each piece.
