Explore inside a CHP helicopter,
Friendly search & rescue dogs,
“Coastie” the Remotely Operated Vehicle,
Knot tying & heaving line tosses,
Interactive cliff rescue practice,
Marine radio communications,
Clean boating kit giveaways,
Paddle craft safety & free ID stickers,
…and a Helicopter Rescue Swimmer demonstration!
There is plenty of free parking.
This event is hosted by U.S. Coast Guard Station Golden Gate and U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 12 (Sausalito-Tiburon), with support from Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 14 (Central Marin) and Eleventh District Northern Region members.
