Kiri Fisher, part-owner of The Cheese School of San Francisco, has opened her first restaurant and retail shop in Marin. The bright airy space exudes Scandinavian whimsy with colorful wallpaper and butcher-block countertops. Her belief that cheese and wine shouldn’t be intimidating is demonstrated in the work of the knowledgeable and helpful staff, always happy to chat cheese. Expect to find a selection of fromage and wine that goes beyond the usual, as well as menu favorites like meatballs with creamed kale and a fig caprese salad.
