Our annual calendar event listings are compiled by our editorial team each month for both print and digital. If you want to submit something for editorial consideration, you can email us at editorial@marinmagazine.com.

On the Scene
On the Scene is a recap of an event that already occurred, featuring pictures and a write-up of your gala or fundraiser both in print and online. If you’ve purchased a Hot Ticket package, this is included; we also sometimes cover events independently.
FAQ for On the Scene Submissions
What is required for an On the Scene submission?
We will send you a form with the full requirements, but generally we need full details of the event, including the cause it supports, attendees numbers, what entertainment was present. We will also need a selection of around 30 photos highlighting guests, sponsors and the general atmosphere.
When will I see my recap run in print and digital?
Print: Timing for when your print recap will run cannot be guaranteed, but it will appear in print anywhere between 1–3 issues from when your event took place. This will be determined by how much space there is still available in the coming issues at the time of your submission.
Digital: We’ll aim to get your digital recap up on our website between 1–2 weeks following your submission to the materials form. We’ll email you with the link to the post when it’s live, and it’ll stay on our website for a full month.
