The calm and relaxed atmosphere at The Half Day Cafe comes as a surprise given that it’s located directly across from the College of Marin. The large dining area is surrounded by windows, many of which look out onto a patio surrounded by trees.

I love this photograph of chef and owner Tory Monahan. She is calm and is sitting outside the cafe against beautiful trees that are visible through the cafe windows. It truly sums up the feel of the place. You can see the delicious orange butter in my second photo!
