The current owners of The Trident have maintained the amazing woodwork created by David Mitchell as well as murals painted by David Richards in the 1960s. Inside is an incredible blend of art and architecture, resembling an old yacht. The Trident, once a gathering place for like-minded locals and celebrities from around the world, was known for its laid-back vibe and its many famous patrons including Janis Joplin, Jerry Garcia, Clint Eastwood, The Rolling Stones and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The Trident was previously owned by The Kingston Trio.
