We went to the ribbon cutting for the North Bay Children Center’s new multimillion dollar campus in Novato and got a glimpse into everything it has to offer.

Serving infants to preschoolers, this 20,000 square foot campus comes equipped with many classrooms and a large outdoor space with plenty of unique enrichment areas.

Founded in 2020 by Tam High grads, Kirsi Harris and Kate Rosegard (now a rising third-year college student), KK Swaps has repurposed and donated over 100,000 articles of clothing and have partnered with organizations, including @athleta, @marinfostercare, Mill Valley Community Center (@millvalleyrecreation), @trashie and @bluejeansgogreen. Harris and Rosegar accept used clothing donations and personally sort, advertise, merchandise and sell. This dynamic duo is not only committed to being part of the solution by promoting conscious consumption and empowering the next generation to make sustainable choices, they also aim to empower young women to start their own businesses.
