New in Town

February sees stylish additions to Marin’s art, retail and dining. First up, artist Meili Zhao opened a downtown Sausalito gallery, filled with her thoughtful and delicate artwork of local landscapes and natural beauty. Then up the 101, Corte Madera’s Town Center gained a furniture showroom from the high-quality home decor retailer Arhaus. And our county seat welcomes The Burren House, an authentic Irish pub on San Rafael’s Fourth Street featuring not just great pours and pub bites, but also an interior essentially flown in from the old country.

And this is just a snapshot of Marin’s thriving food scene; we have also been busy this year shining the light on new hotels and other services, new art and cultural centers, shops and boutiques and beauty and wellness centers.
