Autumn has arrived, and with it come new businesses and organizations to catch the falling leaves. To start, Marin adds two new arts endeavors to its roster, with the emergence of the nonprofit Marin Jazz and the Fashion Week-style event called Marin Fashion Night. Plus, San Anselmo Avenue is bustling with new locations and additions. First up, Padma Studio from Fairfax expanded their yoga and mindfulness offerings with a second location. And fashionistas can find their next ‘fit at Curate Marin, a new secondhand store for hot styles and luxury items. Lastly, Comforts revamped their take-out space for a more efficient layout with more pay stations — meaning even more accessible Chinese chicken salads.
In the realm of gastronomy, we’ve got two hot new restaurants and an exciting menu from an established spot. The Bungalow Kitchen in Tiburon added an omakase sushi menu with just 12 seats each night, making an intimate dining adventure. A new watering hole on Center Boulevard, Fairfax Brewing Company serves up its own beer and elevated pub grub. And from the team at The Baan Thai Cuisine, Kuro Nami Japanese Kitchen is a new destination for an exciting dinner, with a menu featuring a wealth of Japanese dishes.
And this is just a snapshot of Marin’s thriving food scene; we have also been busy this year shining the light on new hotels and other services, new art and cultural centers, shops and boutiques and beauty and wellness centers.
