On September 26, Peacock Gap in San Rafael came alive with Bank of Marin’s 32nd Annual Spirit of Marin Luncheon to celebrate volunteer efforts in the community. This year honored a total of 14 individuals, non-profits and businesses.
Honorees included: Jackie Suthon of The Baan Thai & Kuro Nami Japanese Kitchen, for Business Citizen of the Year; Marin Humane’s Nancy McKenney, for Large Business of the Year; and Marin Community Clinics, for Large Business of the Year. See the complete list of honorees here.
Board Chair of Bank of Marin Bancorp James C. Hale and Bank of Marin President & Chief Executive Officer Tim Myers shared the welcome and opening remarks. Guest speaker Joan Ryan, an award-winning journalist, author and sports media consultant, followed. Music performed by Edú Bega Band maintained the lively atmosphere.
325 guests were present for the afternoon’s festivities, which notably included members of the Marin County Chamber of Commerce, elected officials, local nonprofits and local businesses.
Lunch was catered by Sage Catering and was paired with wine from Balletto Vineyards. Guests later also enjoyed post-event gelato courtesy of Fiorello’s Artisan Gelato.
