A large charcuterie board and a glass of Regis Bouvier Vielles Vignes Marsannay Burgundy Pinot Noir would make a nice dinner, especially while ensconced on one of the cozy banquettes in the window at this wine bar in downtown Tiburon focused on European and Californian wines.

Central Marin

Internos Beer and Wine Bar

After years of running a now-closed wine and beer bar by the same name in San Francisco, owner and Larkspur resident Adnan Abudaken, along with co-owner Tony Martinez, opened Internos on a stretch of Larkspur’s Magnolia Avenue, just before it turns into College Avenue. A C-shaped bar sports tall stools and ample room to enjoy a glass of wine or beer alongside a charcuterie board, salad or flatbread, while a sleek wood wall holds bottles available for takeaway.

Voyage

San Anselmo

Minimal intervention wines by the glass and bottle, and a low-ABV cocktail program featuring sherry and vermouth, spritzes and other drinks are at the heart of this downtown wine bar. That may mean a lambrusco from Emilia-Romagna or a “fire fuego” orange sauvignon blanc from Sonoma, best paired with an appetizer from Voyage’s menu of nibbles. Enjoy at the bar, on the rail in the window or at one of the lounges in front of the fireplace.

Mantra Wines

Novato

This Novato tasting room and winery was established in 2000 by the Kuimelis family. The family works to bring a taste of the Dry Creek and Alexander Valleys of Sonoma County down to Marin at their quaint lounge and tasting room in the heart of Downtown Novato.
