31 Fun Things to Do in Marin and the Bay Area This August

Live theater is back, my friends, but, perhaps just as importantly, so are in-person galas. Glide’s legacy galas is just one of many returning in-person fundraisers that also includes virtual events. And if you have not yet been to the Legion of Honor’s Last Supper in Pompeii exhibit yet, August is your last chance. The exhibit closes on the 29th.

In collaboration with the City of Sonoma, the Sonoma Valley Museum of Art opened a public art installation at the Sonoma Plaza with eight large scale sculptures from Bruce Beasley, Catherine Daley, Peter Hassen, and Jun Kaneko that explore the balance between nature and technology, through October 19.
